It was so much fun creating these today.  I love them so much I named them.  They are heading straight to SCRAP...I'm just saying.

Spring Colors!

Pin It Now!
I had a wonderful crafting day yesterday.  I love crafting in the rainy/sunny/hailing spring weather.  It gives me a cozy feeling.
Well, I am working on what I am usually up to -- light switch plates and zipper pull earrings -- but I have some fabulous new spring colors that I will take into SCRAP next week so be on the lookout~

Decorated Light Switch Covers Revisited

Pin It Now!
This is one of my go-to craft projects, partly because I sell them at SCRAP's ReBoutique.  Recently I was in SCRAP and they were selling baggies full of origami paper.  The papers were really pretty and I thought it would definitely add some design to the boring white light switch plates.  I was right and now I need to get back to SCRAP and see if they have more of that paper...too cool.

1960s Wallpaper Light Switch Covers

Pin It Now!

Yes, I do make a lot of light switch covers, but they are a hot seller at SCRAP's ReBoutique.  Brandon recently went to Chicago for his mom's 70th birthday and came across these two wallpaper books in her attic and he brought them home to me.  The are amazing!  I really love the 1960s patterns.  The Patrician ones will be handing, too, and I will probably embellish them a bit since that's my style.

Enjoy~

Oh, and I am off to Spain tomorrow to walk the Camino de Santiago, so you won't see another post from me till the end of July.  Have a nice summer!

New Embroidered Light Switch Cover

Pin It Now!

As I promised I made a light switch cover to replace the boring white one in Brandon's office.
I had this idea of incorporating stitching into light switch cover design.
This was my first attempt.  There's a few kinks that need to be worked out, but all in all I like it.

I have just discovered a new necktie project that I am super excited about, so stay tuned!
